12 of the UK’s most travelled social influencers with a passion for food, fashion and finesse we’re invited to an experience evening with a twist. Using the hashtag #WeLoveAccorhotels from the Global campaign, Graymatter helped the UK Accorhotels Marketing team host a bloggers event night at four of their hotels across London.
Raising awareness of the variety of hotels and destinations Accorhotels has to offer, the influencers documented their journey throughout the evening. Broadcasting Live Periscope’s of the hotel staff showcasing the best of their hotels before each visit added a personal touch, connecting the audience rather than simply showing them what’s happening at the event.
Each hotel provided a different experience; a selection of food and drink for the influencers to taste; cocktails, canapes and four-star accommodation. With the final destination, a mystery - Castle Hotel Windsor MGallery Collection. Inspired by the array of hotels available from Accorhotels each influencer was sent away with a multitude of content, memories and the chance to win a ticket to Morocco!
The influencers experienced first-hand the many reasons why #WeLoveAccorhotels and in the process created a social reach of 3.7M across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat in one night!
"Our challenge was to raise awareness of our range of hotel brands within the Accor portfolio. The mystery bus tour allowed influencers to experience several the brands (ibis, Pullman, Novotel and MGallery) all in one evening moving from hotel to hotel for cocktails, starters, main then finally deserts and night cap with an overnight stay. It was fun and engaging for the influencers created amazing reach and content across multiple platforms, the evening had a buzz about it the whole time posting, tweeting and live Periscopes. Not only did we get the reach on the night it also generated multiple blogs and vlogs after the event.
